Marketing & Business Development Manager

Hont Global Services Ltd is seeking a dynamic Marketing & Business Development Manager to lead our market expansion efforts. This role is responsible for building brand equity and securing high-value logistics contracts. You will be tasked with identifying new revenue streams, optimizing our service offerings, and managing the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to final booking.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Strategy: Develop and execute marketing strategies that differentiate Hont Global from competitors.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of corporate clients, manufacturers, and large-scale traders.
  • Expansion: Identify and develop new geographic routes or service niches.
  • Client Relations: Maintain high-level relationships with existing top-tier clients to ensure retention and up-selling.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Marketing and Business Development, with at least 3 years specifically within the Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry.
  • Education: Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. An MBA and professional certifications in marketing, logistics, freight forwarding, and supply are a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of shipping terms, Customs clearing processes (Form M/PAAR), and global shipping line operations.
  • Skills: Proven ability to close high-ticket logistics contracts.
    • Proficiency in data-driven marketing analytics.
    • Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.

We are looking for a result-driven Marketing and Business Development Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our client base.

You will bridge the gap between our logistics capabilities and the needs of importers, exporters, and manufacturers, ensuring Hont Global remains a preferred freight forwarding partner.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and onboard new corporate and individual clients requiring sea and air freight services.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify emerging industries with high shipping volumes.
  • Account Management: Manage a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring high retention through excellent service delivery.
  • Reporting: Provide reports on sales targets, conversion rates, and market trends.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in marketing, specifically within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with shipping terms, Customs clearing processes (Form M/PAAR), and global shipping line operations.
  • Skills: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
    • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
    • Excellent communication skills for high-level executive presentations.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attributes: Highly persuasive, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
